We know that sometimes you need several cards for the same person, they might need access to funds in different currencies or have different cards for different types of costs. For example, we get this a lot from marketing teams where they need a card for each of the advertising platforms.

To solve this we created a new feature where you can give each of your Payhawk cards a name.


Who can name Payhawk cards?

  1. Only the Admin can give a name to every card in the web portal.
  2. Every cardholder can name their cards through the mobile app.

Admins: name your Payhawk cards on the web portal

As an administrator, you can name cards in the portal following these simple steps:

  • Log into your Payhawk account
  • Go to Cards on the on the right-hand side menu
  • Click on the three-points icon on top of the card and select Name this card
  • Enter the card name. You will directly see how it will look on the card
  • Save the name
  • The card name is visible on the card and in the cards' list

Cardholders: name your Payhawk cards on the mobile app

As a cardholder, you can name cards in the app following these simple steps:

  • Log into Payhawk's app
  • Select the Cards tab
  • Click on the Name this card button
  • Enter the card name. You will directly see how it will look on the card
  • Save the name
  • The card name is visible on the card
