In some cases, you may need to download your expense data for a specific period or other criteria. This article shows you how to filter and download your expenses. 📁

Follow these simple steps:

  • Go to the Expenses screen

  • Press Add filter to select the expenses you want to download. Keep in mind that only the visible expenses will be downloaded

  • Press Download

  • On the right side, choose your preferred format (Excel or CSV)

  • Press Download to confirm

The expenses file will be generated and downloaded in the browser. In it, you'd find all the necessary information about the expense and their current state in Payhawk.

Downloading your expenses should only be used for reporting purposes since the information in it can change. For reconciliation and accounting purposes, please use the Payhawk Export App.
