Hi!

You've already learned how to assign team managers so that you can build powerful spend policies and worklfows.

But what can team managers actually do in Payhawk?

Once a user is assigned as a team manager, they gain the following permissions

Cards

  • In addition to their individual cards, managers can view all cards issued to members of teams they manage. This also includes sub teams of teams they manage.

  • In the cards overview, they can switch between two views - My teams cards and My cards.

  • Managers can also freeze cardholders cards. Once blocked by a team manager, a card can only be unblocked by a manager or any administrator.

Managers CANNOT view the full card data (unlike cardholders) or change the card limits (like administrators)

Expenses

  • Managers can have a quick overview of all expenses created by members of teams under their management. This also includes sub teams of teams they manage.

  • In the expenses overview, they can switch between two views - My expenses and My Team expenses

  • Managers can edit team expenses before they are sent for approval and also send them for approval on behalf of expense owners.
