Saving and managing filtered purchase views

How can I filter company purchases by category, submitter, supplier, approval status, and other criteria?

You can quickly and easily filter purchases at your company from the Purchases app by using the built-in views and available filters as supplier, category, custom field, and more.

Default views for purchases

Depending on employees' roles, the Purchases app provides the following default views:

  • All employees can use the My purchases default view to select only the purchases they've submitted.

  • In addition to My purchases, Team managers can access the default My team purchases default view to select the purchases submitted by their teams.

  • In addition to My purchases, Payhawk accountants and administrators can use the Company purchases default view and monitor all employee purchases.

Saving filtered views

To save your view and persist the applied filters after you have filtered the purchases as required:

  1. In the Purchases app, click on the Save view button.

  2. In the dialog that opens, enter a name for your view.

  3. Click on Save.

Accessing saved filtered purchase views

To access the saved filtered purchase views, click on the drop-down menu with the purchases in the Purchases app.

Managing saved filtered purchase views

To edit an existing filtered purchase view:

  1. Go to the Purchases app.

  2. Click on the drop-down menu with the purchases and select Manage views.

  3. To edit a view, in the Manage views dialog that opens, click the Edit icon.

  4. Update the view's name and click on Save.

  5. Click on Close.

To delete an existing filtered purchase view:

  1. In the Manage views dialog that opens, click the Trash icon.

  2. Click on Close.
