View comments, approval statuses, and change logs for purchase orders in Payhawk.

The Activity section for each purchase request and purchase order allows you to view any comments on that purchase, its approval status, and its change log with the respective updates. Thus, you can reconstruct the history of a purchase in the system.

Viewing purchase comments in the portal

To view the comments for a purchase request or purchase order:

  1. In the Payhawk web portal, go to Purchases and select the desired purchase request or purchase order.

  2. Open its Activity section. By default, the Activity section will be open and the Comments option from the drop-down menu will be loaded.

Alternatively, if you've been notified about a purchase comment, go to your Inbox > Notifications and select the comment you need.

Viewing the purchase workflow in the portal

You can view the purchase workflow by selecting the Workflow drop-down option from its Activity section.

Viewing the purchase history in the portal

You can view the history of a purchase in its change log by selecting the Expense changes drop-down list option from its Activity section.

Viewing all purchase activities in the portal

To view all combined activities for the purchase, select the All drop-down option from its Activity section.

Viewing comments and purchase workflows in the app

If you've been notified about a purchase comment, open your Inbox and tap on the notification. Alternatively, tap on the push notification you've received on your phone.

From your Inbox, you can view all comments for a purchase (Activity > Comments) and its workflow (Activity > Workflow), or all of these combined (Activity > All).
