Cause

This error occurs when one or more fields that are marked as required in Oracle NetSuite have not been populated in the corresponding expense in Payhawk. Oracle NetSuite enforces mandatory field validation during the export process, and if any required field is missing a value, the transaction will be rejected and the export will fail.

Solution

To resolve this issue:

  1. Review your Oracle NetSuite required fields:

    1. Log in to your Oracle NetSuite account.

    2. Review the fields that are marked as required for vendor bills or expense transactions.

    3. Identify which of these required fields correspond to custom fields or standard fields available in Payhawk.

  2. Update the expense in Payhawk:

    1. In the Payhawk Web Portal, go to Expenses and open the expense that failed to export by clicking on it.

    2. Review all available fields and ensure that any field corresponding to an Oracle NetSuite required field has been populated with a valid value.

    3. Save the updated expense.

  3. Once all required fields have been populated, attempt to export the expense again.
