Great experiences are worth sharing, and referring businesses to Payhawk is simple and rewarding. When a company you refer becomes a Payhawk customer, you receive a cash reward, and the company you referred gets one month of the service for free.
Each employee registered in your Payhawk account can refer a business regardless of their role at the company. The Referral Program is available both in the Payhawk Web Portal and the Payhawk Mobile App.
Referral Program details
Referrals must come from businesses operating in regions where Payhawk is available.
The reward for each successful referral is €1,000, paid directly to your personal bank account.
The company you refer receives one month of the Payhawk subscription for free.
An email notification will confirm when a referral successfully completes key steps in the process. You can also track the progress of your referrals in your referral dashboard.
There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make.
Payhawk's Referral Program is free to join.
Participating
To take part in the Referral Program:
Copy your personal referral link.
Share the link with a company that can benefit from Payhawk.
Earn your €1,000 reward directly paid to your personal bank account when the referred company becomes a Payhawk customer.
Referred businesses also benefit by getting one month of the service for free as part of their contract.
Accessing the Referral Program
You can access the Referral Program from the Payhawk Web Portal in the following way:
Make sure you are on the Dashboard page.
Go to the Earn €1,000 for yourself banner and click on Refer and earn.
Alternatively, click on your profile picture and select the Earn €1,000 per referral option.
Copy your referral link and share it with the company you want to refer.
You can access the Referral Program from the Payhawk Mobile App in the following way:
Tap your profile picture and select Earn €1,000 per referral.
Tap Share invite link and share the link with the company you want to refer.
Sharing your referral link
When you share your referral link with a company, note the following rules and guidelines based on Payhawk's Referral Program Terms & Conditions and Cello's Terms of Service (which you accept when you create your Cello account). Breaking them can lead to suspension from the Referral Program and loss of your rewards.
Before the company talks to Payhawk, inform them that you can receive a reward for the referral and how much the reward is.
Let them know that Payhawk processes the contact details it enters through your link and shares them with Cello, the platform that runs the Referral Program, and with other Payhawk companies.
Respect the interests of the company and its people. Don't send them spam or unwanted messages.
You can tell the company about Payhawk, but you can't negotiate terms or make commitments for Payhawk. Payhawk agrees the terms directly with the company.
Make sure that accepting the reward is allowed by your employer's policies and by the laws that apply to you.
Don't refer government bodies or companies that a government owns or controls.
Don't promote your link with paid advertising, such as search ads, pay-per-click campaigns or social media ads, unless Cello allows it in writing.
Don't bid on Payhawk brand terms, such as "Payhawk", Payhawk product names or the Payhawk domain, in any ad campaign, unless Payhawk or Cello allows it in writing.
Don't post your link on coupon or deal-sharing sites, or present the free month as a public discount or promotion.
Don't make misleading claims, or present yourself as a Payhawk partner or representative.
Don't refer yourself, create fake referrals, or use other people or multiple accounts to get around these rules.
To count as your referral, the company must open your link and submit the form with its details. Ask the company to allow cookies and turn off any ad blocker when it opens the link, otherwise the referral can't be tracked.
Terms and conditions
The Referral Program is open to all active Payhawk customers.
Only one reward is granted per referred business. If multiple users refer the same company, the reward goes to the user whose referral link the business used to register.
A referral qualifies for a reward after the referred company signs a contract with Payhawk.
Companies that are already in active conversations with the Payhawk Sales team don't qualify as referrals.
Referred companies with fewer than 20 employees that sign up for the Growth plan don't qualify for a reward.
