If the trips and travel Payhawk experience is not included into your current pricing plan, all employees at your company can still preview the Travel AI Agent capabilities and explore the travel booking experience.
Accessing the Preview mode of the Travel AI Agent
The entry point for the Preview mode of the Travel AI Agent is equivalent for all employees with a slightly enhanced experience for Payhawk Administrators.
All employees
All employees can access the Travel AI Agent by clicking the AI Office icon next to their profile picture. As a result, the Travel AI Agent loads in its Preview mode.
On their phones, employees will receive an in-product push-up notification suggesting them to explore the Travel AI Agent capabilities. If interested, they need to click on it and, as a result, they’ll be redirected to the Preview mode of the Travel AI Agent.
In the Preview mode of the Travel AI Agent, employees can search for flights and hotels to explore available options, but will not be able to proceed with creating a trip request.
Payhawk Administrators
In addition to accessing the Travel AI Agent through the AI Office icon, Payhawk Administrators will also see the Payhawk Travel banner on the Dashboard. When they click on Take a look, they will be redirected to Settings > Trips and will be shown a guided walkthrough demonstrating the Travel AI Agent capabilities and how to configure the system.
In the Preview mode of the Travel AI Agent, Payhawk Administrators can define travel policies, search for flights and hotels, but will not be able to complete a booking, submit a trip request, define approval workflows, and explore post-booking features.
What is available in Preview mode
In Travel AI Agent’s Preview mode, the following actions are supported:
Browsing the Travel AI Agent interface and interacting with the conversational booking experience.
Searching for flights and hotels to see real results, pricing, and availability.
Exploring travel policy settings and seeing how policies would apply to bookings.
What is not available in Preview mode
In Travel AI Agent’s Preview mode, the following actions are not supported:
Creating or submitting trip requests.
Completing a booking.
Approval workflows and post-booking features.
