What happened?
Your bank returned your recent ACH debit with a return code R29, which means the transaction was not authorized. This issue typically occurs when your bank requires specific permissions from certain originators for ACH transactions.
Current status
Due to this return, Payhawk is currently unable to process ACH debits from your linked bank account.
Resolution steps
To ensure future transactions are processed without interruption, you need to whitelist Payhawk's and your company's Originator IDs and, then, complete the verification process.
Whitelist Payhawk's Originator ID - Contact your bank and request them to add the 9882219060 ID to your account's whitelist for ACH debits.
Whitelist your company's Originator ID - Whitelist your company's unique Tax Identification Number (TIN) for Accounts Payable (AP) transactions. The format that has to be followed requires you to add a "2" prefix before your TIN - for example, if your TIN is 123456789, you should whitelist it as 2123456789.
Complete the verification process - Once you've updated your whitelist settings, contact Payhawk's Support team at support@payhawk.com to arrange a micro-transaction verification. This step ensures the whitelisting is correctly applied and the ACH process functions properly.
Processing times for bank authorizations may vary depending on your financial institution.
