Group Budgets

Payhawk has introduced a key update to make Budgets an even more powerful tool for multi-entity businesses. Companies can now set-up and manage all their entities’ budgets in one centralized place through the Multi-Entity Management (MEM) dashboard for better visibility. Additionally, the new Entity dimension enables businesses to easily manage more complex budgeting scenarios and hierarchies.

Recurring purchases

Employees can now submit requests for recurring purchases in one step. With recurring purchase orders, companies can track repetitive spending, reduce data entry errors, and save time by skipping redundant approvals.

Three-way line item matching

Finance teams can now easily review purchases with automated line-item matching. It compares the amounts and quantities for each line item across the purchase order, invoice, and receipt note—not just the totals. This ensures the order price matches the invoice price, and the order quantity matches what was received, thus enabling companies to spot discrepancies faster and be never overcharged or underdelivered.

eInvoicing

Governments worldwide are introducing eInvoicing mandates to combat tax evasion and improve VAT collection. In Germany, Finance teams are gearing up for the new requirements starting January 2025. Teams can now add comments to expenses directly in the mobile app and on card and fund requests. Hyperlink support makes it easy to include clickable links in comments; profile avatars now sync automatically and enable employees to upload their own for a personal touch.
