Exporting expenses and payments to MS Business Central

Prev Next

The Payhawk integration with MS Business Central is designed to work effortlessly and help you keep your data between the two systems in sync at all times.

Notes on exporting expenses and payments to MS Business Central

  • It's recommended that you sync your Payhawk-MS Business Central accounts every time you make changes in your accounting system.

  • An expense will be automatically exported to MS Business Central once that expense is reviewed. As a result, all your expense data, images, and bank statements will be imported into the accounting system.

  • Payments will be exported to MS Business Central once the expense is exported from Payhawk and posted in the ERP, and only after the transaction has been settled. For more details, see the section on pushing payments to MS Business Central.

  • After the export to MS Business Central, Payhawk will pull the value for the expense External ID from the Purchase Invoice -> No. or Journal Entry -> $SystemId of that expense.
