Define card-spend and recurring monthly limits and allow fund requests and ATM withdrawals for team cards with spend-alone limits.

After a team card has been created, Payhawk administrators can update and edit its parameters by quickly setting or updating the recurring monthly limits and card spend limits, and allowing ATM withdrawals and fund requests for the cardholders of the linked cards.

Setting card spend limits for team cards

The card limit is the available amount of money on the Payhawk card. You can always change the spend limit when you create a team card or when the team card is already issued.

To update the available card funds on a team card:

  1. Log in to the Payhawk web portal.

  2. Go to the Cards > Team cards tab.

  3. Select the team card whose settings you want to modify by clicking on it.

  4. In the Available field, enter the amount of the team card limit and click elsewhere to save the changes.

Setting the recurring monthly team card limit

The recurring monthly team card limit is the shared card limit to which the cardholders of the linked cards have full access during the month. These team card funds will be automatically topped up at the beginning of each month if the amount at that time is less than the defined recurring month limit.

To set the recurring monthly limit of a Payhawk team card:

  1. From the Cards > Team cards tab, select the team card whose settings you want to modify.

  2. Under the Settings tab, go to the Recurring monthly limit option, enter the desired amount, and click elsewhere to save the changes.

Allowing ATM withdrawals and fund requests for team cards

Allowing ATM withdrawals for team cards means that the cardholders of the linked cards will be able to draw company cash from that card from ATMs.

Allowing fund requests for team cards means that the cardholders of the linked cards will be able to ask for additional funds that will be transferred to that team card if the fund request is approved.

To enable ATM withdrawals and fund requests for a team card:

  1. Go to Cards > Team cards.

  2. Select the desired team card by clicking on it.

  3. Go to the Settings tab.

  4. Switch on the ATM withdrawals or Allow fund requests toggle button, respectively.

To disable ATM withdrawals and fund requests for team cards, switch off the ATM withdrawals or Allow fund requests toggle button under the Cards > Team cards > Settings tab.

The approval workflow of fund requests for team cards is set to Any administrator by default regardless of the requested amount.
