Payhawk has direct integration to MS Dynamics 365 Business Central, allowing us the flexibility to enrich and export your expenses effortlessly.

By connecting to your Business Central organization, you will allow Payhawk to:

  • Synchronize your Chart of accounts and VAT Rates

  • Create a bank account for each of your active currencies

  • Create Payhawk General and Fees account

  • Import your chart of accounts and tax rates

  • Import your Business Central tracking categories

  • Sync your Payhawk and Business Central balances from a specific point in time

  • Automatically push expenses and bank statements to Business Central in real-time

To connect to Business Central, you need to follow a few simple steps:

  • Go to Settings -> Integrations

  • Select the Business Central integration

Before you begin to link your account make sure you have permission to install extensions in Business Central.

During the linking process, Payhawk will request you to install an extension from our partner Codat.

  • Description/Publisher: Codat

  • Name: App Link

  • Choose a date from which you'd like to sync your balances between Payhawk and Business Central (It's usually a good practice to set the chosen date in Business Central as a lock date so that no prior expenses get exported).

  • Finally, map your chart of accounts to your Payhawk categories

After connecting, make sure to define a bank account posting group. Check out this article for more information.
