How can I let people know that I'm out of the office (OOO)? How can I delegate my tasks to teammates during my absence?

If you are planning to go on holiday, for example, you can enable the out-of-office mode in Payhawk and delegate your responsibilities to a teammate.

Specifics

Requests that are pending approval by the out-of-office start date will be resent to the people to whom you delegate your work responsibilities.

Enabling and disabling out-of-office on mobile

To enable the out-of-office functionality on mobile:

  1. Open the Payhawk mobile app.

  2. Tap your profile icon.

  3. On the next screen, select the Out of office option by tapping it.

  4. Switch on the Enable Out-of-Office toggle button.

  5. Tap the From date to open the calendar and select the date from which you won't be available. Click on Confirm.

  6. Tap the To date to open the calendar and select the date until which you won't be available. Click on Confirm.

  7. Tap Add another to select one or more employees to whom you will delegate your work responsibilities.

    If you have wrongly selected an employee, remove it by tapping X next to their name.

  8. Tap Save.

Respectively, to disable the out-of-office mode, switch off the Enable Out-of-Office button and tap Yes on the next screen to confirm your choice.

Enabling and disabling out-of-office on the web

To enable the out-of-office functionality on the web:

  1. Open the Payhawk web portal.

  2. Hover over your profile icon and select the Manage profile option by clicking on it.

  3. In the dialog that opens, go to Out of office.

  4. Switch on the Enable Out-of-Office toggle button.

  5. Click on the From date to open the calendar and select the date from which you won't be available.

  6. Click on the To date to open the calendar and select the date until which you won't be available.

  7. From the drop-down menu, select one or more employees to whom you will delegate your work responsibilities during the out-of-office period.

    If you have wrongly selected an employee, hover over the employee's name and click on X next to their name to remove it.

  8. Click on Save changes.

Respectively, to disable the out-of-office mode, switch off the Enable Out-of-Office button and click on Confirm in the dialog that opens to confirm your choice.
