In Payhawk, Mastercard card feed linking means that you authorize Payhawk to connect to Mastercard for your entity and to receive authorization and settlement data for the card transactions.

Payhawk supports individual and bulk card enrollment (linking).
Individual linking of Mastercards
Individual card linking (enrollment) means that after the connection between Mastercard and Payhawk is initiated, each employee registered in Payhawk can log in and add their Mastercard to Payhawk by themselves.

Bulk linking of Mastercards
Bulk card linking (enrollment) enables companies to onboard with Payhawk, minimizing the need for individual employee involvement. The process allows all eligible cards under a company’s card program to be enrolled at once, with only the Payhawk administrator required to take action.

Synced transactional data of linked Mastercard cards
When a Mastercard card is linked to Payhawk:
Payhawk will start receiving authorization data about the transactions made with that card as of the moment the card was linked.
Payhawk will receive settlement data for the linked card transactions when cleared.
Specifics
Mastercard feed linking in Payhawk is available only for companies based in the US and Canada, and applies to corporate cards issued in employees’ names.
For group entities, only those registered in the US or Canada can use thе Mastercard feed linking feature.
Wells Fargo and Goldman Sachs Mastercard cards are supported through special partnerships that enable integration with other banks.
Wells Fargo does not provide real-time transaction updates for its Mastercard cards.
Linked Mastercards can only be viewed in the Payhawk web portal.
Card controls and spending limits cannot be set for linked Mastercards, as Payhawk only accesses and displays their transactional data.
Certain smaller issuing banks may impose fees for enrolling their cards.
Reconciliation in the case of card feed linking
For Payhawk, reconciliation is the process of mapping and transferring your accounting data into exports and the ERP or accounting software systems you are using.
With the card feed linking capabilities, each transaction on the linked Mastercard cards appears as a payment executed through Payhawk. You can map each linked card to a different General Ledger account.
