As a Payhawk administrator, you may be responsible for the management of two or more entities that have been registered in the system as part of the same holding.

To save time and effort, and optimize your internal processes in Payhawk, you can create a group of entities that you can manage all at once as a group through the available group (multi-entity) settings.

Target roles for the multi-entity management

By design, the group settings are meant to be used by centralized finance and operations teams or other roles such as:

  • Head of Finance. They can monitor the financial operations of all entities.

  • Treasury. They can ensure diligent cash management of all entities.

  • Head of Accounting. They can plan, organize, and coordinate the year-end processes of all entities.

Required onboarding information

To be able to create a group of entities in Payhawk, you need to provide specific information related to these entities.

To start the procedure, contact your Customer Success specialist and provide the following information:

  • Name of the group (holding).

  • Consolidated currency of the group.

  • Name and country code of the parent entity.

  • Entities you want to include in the group. You can include all entities you have on Payhawk.

By default, Payhawk will assign you as a Group administrator so that you'll be able to invite other administrators later on. For more information, see the article on the Group administrator role in Payhawk.

Group administrators role

After providing the information about the entities, you will be assigned as a Group administrator.
