To be able to execute payments through Payhawk, such as depositing funds for your company cards, administrators need to first open a new currency account in Payhawk for the desired currency.

This article shows how to add a new currency account for a specific currency for European and UK-based entities.
Each new currency account request is reviewed by the Payhawk Compliance team and opened within up to two business days.
Creating new currency accounts in Payhawk
To add a new Payhawk currency account in a specific currency, follow the steps:
In the Payhawk web portal, go to Funds.
Click on the + New button.
In the Open a new account dialog, from the drop-down menu, select the desired currency of the account you want to be created.
Confirm that you agree with the terms and conditions by checking the checkbox.
Click on the Open account button. The next screen shows the notification that the new currency account request is pending.
Once the new account has been created, you will receive an email notification on the email with which you registered in Payhawk.
