Managing your linked cards

View the settled card transactions, name and rename, and unlink your linked physical American Express Cards in Payhawk.

Once you've linked your physical American Express Cards in Payhawk, you can use the available Payhawk options to manage it.

Viewing all settled Card transactions

You can view all expenses that have been paid with your linked American Express Card:

  1. In the Payhawk web portal, go to Cards > Linked cards.

  2. Select the desired Card by clicking on it.

  3. Click on its three dots menu and select the View all expenses option. As a result, you'll be redirected to the Expenses > All tab.

Naming and renaming linked Cards

You can name or rename your linked American Express Card:

  1. In the Cards > Linked cards tab, select the desired card by clicking on it.

  2. Click on its three dots menu and select the Name this card option.

  3. In the dialog that opens, enter the desired name and click on Save.

Unlinking American Express Cards from Payhawk

Unlinking your American Express Cards from Payhawk will automatically close not only the linked physical American Express Card but also all existing virtual American Express Cards that are using it as their funding source.

To unlink your physical American Express Card from Payhawk:

  1. In the Payhawk web portal, go to Cards > Linked cards and select the American Express Card you want to unlink.

  2. Click on its three dots menu and select the Unlink card option.

  3. In the dialog that opens, select the checkboxes and confirm your choice by clicking on Confirm.
