Forty-five days before your Payhawk card is about to expire, Payhawk will notify you in the mobile app or web portal when you select that card.
Thirty days before your physical card is about to expire, Payhawk will reissue a new one. You’ll be notified that it’s on its way upon Payhawk having shipped it to the default shipping address of your company. Upon receiving the new card, you’ll need to activate it in the Payhawk mobile app.
On the day when your virtual card is about to expire, a replacement will become available for you to use immediately and you won’t need to activate it.
Once you start to use your reissued card, you need to transfer all subscriptions and other recurring payments to the new one.
To activate your reissued physical Payhawk card:
In the Payhawk mobile app, go to Cards.
Select the expiring card and click on Go to the new card.
On the next screen, click on Activate card.
You can also track your card delivery by clicking on Track delivery. You'll be redirected to the respective external shipment tracking system, for example, DHL, Royal Mail, and so on.
On the next screen, fill in the last 4 digits of the new card.
Click on Proceed to confirm the deactivation of your old card.
Enter the expiry date of your new card.
Click on Ok to finish the activation of your reissued card.
