Freezing and unfreezing your Payhawk card

Freeze or unfreeze your virtual or physical Payhawk corporate cards from the Payhawk mobile app or web platform.

Payhawk allows you to quickly freeze (prevent further use) your virtual or physical Payhawk corporate card if a fraudulent transaction has taken place or if you see a payment you don't recognize.

Freezing your Payhawk card on mobile

To freeze your Payhawk corporate card from the Payhawk mobile app:

  1. Open your Payhawk mobile app.

  2. Tap Cards and authenticate.

  3. Select the Freeze card option.

  4. In the confirmation dialog, tap on Freeze.

    As a result, the status of your card will be updated to Blocked by user.

Unfreezing your Payhawk card on mobile

To unfreeze your Payhawk corporate card from the Payhawk mobile app:

  1. Open your Payhawk mobile app.

  2. Tap Cards and authenticate.

  3. Select the Unfreeze card option.

  4. In the confirmation dialog, tap on Unfreeze.

    As a result, the status of your card will be updated to Active.

Freezing your Payhawk card on the web

To freeze your Payhawk corporate card from the Payhawk web platform:

  1. Log in to the Payhawk web platform.

  2. Go to Cards.

  3. Select the desired card by clicking on it.

  4. Switch on the Freeze toggle button.

  5. In the confirmation dialog that opens, click on Freeze. As a result, the toggle button under the card will switch to Unfreeze card.

Unfreezing your Payhawk card on the web

To unfreeze your Payhawk corporate card from the Payhawk web platform:

  1. Open your Payhawk mobile app.

  2. Go to Cards.

  3. Select the desired card by clicking on it.

  4. Switch on the Unfreeze toggle button.

  5. In the confirmation dialog that opens, click on Unfreeze. As a result, the toggle button under the card will switch to Freeze card.
