The PIN code is an indispensable attribute for cards, whether virtual or physical, depending on the amount the merchant has defined to require a PIN code.
You can view the PIN code for your card from the Payhawk mobile app only.
If you need to reset your PIN code or unblock (unfreeze) it after too many unsuccessful entries, contact the Payhawk Support team.
Payments requiring your PIN code
For Payhawk cards, you'll need to provide your PIN code in the following cases:
When you make contactless payments with your physical Payhawk card for greater amounts. The amount for which you may be required to enter your PIN code in such cases depends on the contactless limit defined by the specific merchant.
When you use your virtual Payhawk card from Google Wallet or Apple Pay to pay greater amounts at POS terminals. Again, the amount for which you may be required to enter your PIN code in such cases depends on the contactless limit defined by the specific merchant.
