Submitting and canceling fund requests

How can I ask for money from the company? Can I add more funds to my card? Can I cancel a request for additional funds I already sent?

If you as an employee have to pay company expenses but have no available funds on your Payhawk card, you can quickly submit a fund request for the extra amount you need.

Once you create the fund request, it is submitted to the relative person who is responsible for the approval of the amount and who gets notified by a push notification on their Payhawk mobile app.

If you have submitted a fund request that is no longer relevant, you can cancel it either from the Payhawk mobile app or from the Payhawk web portal.

Specifics

You will be able to use the money you requested only after the person assigned by your company as an approver approves the submitted fund request.

Submitting fund requests in the app

To create and submit a fund request from the Payhawk mobile app:

  1. Open the Payhawk mobile app.

  2. Tap Cards and authenticate.

  3. Select the card you want to refund.

  4. Tap the Add funds button.

  5. Enter the desired amount.

  6. In the Note field, provide the reason for submitting the fund request.

  7. Click on the Request button to submit the fund request.

Cancelling fund requests in the app

To cancel a submitted fund request from the Payhawk mobile app that has not yet been approved:

  1. Tap Cards and authenticate.

  2. Select the View pending request option.

  3. In the dialog that opens, tap the Cancel request button.

Submitting fund requests in the portal

To create and submit a fund request from the Payhawk web platform:

  1. Log in to your Payhawk account.

  2. Go to Cards.

  3. Select the card you need by clicking on it.

  4. Click on the three dots menu and select Request funds.

  5. In the dialog that opens, enter the desired amount and provide the reason for the fund request.

  6. Click on the Request button.

Cancelling fund requests in the portal

To cancel a submitted fund request from the Payhawk web platform that has not yet been approved:

  1. Go to Cards.

  2. Select the card you need by clicking on it.

  3. In the Pending fund request dialog, click on the View status button.

  4. In the dialog that opens, click on the Cancel request.
