The PIN code is an indispensable attribute for cards be they virtual or physical depending on the amount the merchant has defined to require a PIN code.

Payments requiring your PIN code

For Payhawk cards, you'll need to provide your PIN code in the following cases:

  • When you pay with your physical Payhawk card for the first time.

  • When you make contactless payments with your physical Payhawk card for greater amounts. The amount for which you may be required to enter your PIN code in such cases depends on the contactless limit defined by the specific merchant.

  • When you use your virtual Payhawk card from Google Wallet or Apple Pay to pay greater amounts at POS terminals. Again, the amount for which you may be required to enter your PIN code in such cases depends on the contactless limit defined by the specific merchant.

Specifics

You can view the PIN code for your Payhawk corporate card only from the Payhawk mobile app.

Viewing the PIN code

To find the PIN code for your Payhawk corporate card:

  1. Open your Payhawk mobile app.

  2. Tap Cards and authenticate.

  3. Under the card details, tap View PIN. As a result, your PIN code will appear.
