Hi,

Payhawk allows you to map your Quickbooks chart of accounts to your user-friendly Payhawk categories.

In this way, you can virtually make your employees and team speak the same language.

Generally, when you connect to your Quickbooks organization for the first time, Payhawk will automatically pull all the available chart of accounts. You can manually update them later at any time.

Here are a few simple steps on how you can synchronize your rates from Quickbooks

  • Make sure that you have connected Quickbooks

  • Go to Settings

  • Choose Categories

  • Press the Update from Quickbooks button.

  • Map your chart of accounts to the existing categories or create your own list.


All expenses that have a category that is not mapped to a Quickbooks chart of account will be automatically mapped to the expense account Payhawk created on Quickbooks: 999-999 Payhawk General

Now, your categories will have default VAT rates that will be updated in Quickbooks. You can begin using exporting expenses to Quickbooks.
