Payhawk allows you to map your NetSuite chart of accounts to your user-friendly Payhawk categories.

In this way, you can virtually make your employees and team speak the same language.

Generally, when you connect to your NetSuite organization for the first time, Payhawk will automatically pull all the available chart of accounts. You can manually update them later at any time.

Here are a few simple steps on how you can synchronize your rates from NetSuite

  • Make sure that you have connected NetSuite

  • Go to Settings

  • Choose Categories

  • Press the Update from NetSuite button

  • Map your chart of accounts to the existing categories or create your own list

All expenses that have a category that is not mapped to a NetSuite chart of account will be automatically mapped to the suspense account Payhawk created on NetSuite:

Now, your categories will have default VAT rates that will be updated in NetSuite. You can begin using exporting expenses to NetSuite.
